Yes, stuck it on top of metal shelf - likely just fall off if I tried underneath. Reception in North County pretty good. I get good signals on all the stations I want. As an example KROQ, 106.7, in Pasadena is pretty weak, but it's like that once you head south of SR 74 ( Ortega) anyway. For six bucks you can't beat it.

Let us know what you think. I just realized the AM reception on the one I just installed is nonexistent. Pure static, but I don't really care about AM anyway. That said, I would like to know how the Crutchfield powered unit works.
