High beams turn on, on their own...

Took the CS out for a drive and now the high beams are on full time with no switch action to make any difference, except when the switch is pulled, the lows will come on or off normally.

Had to disconnect battery.

Ideas anyone?

I would pull each of the relays near the battery until the lights go out - one is the high beam.

Once the high beam relay has been identified, I would check it works properly on the bench.

If it is faulty - replace
If it is not faulty - problem solve the circuit that goes to the high beam dip switch.

or just swap the high beam relay and the horn and see if problem moves to the horn.

I had a girlfriend like this once, the high beams would come on by themselves and I'd have to fix the problem...
