This thread reminded me... I stopped by my friend's shop the other day and he had headphones on sitting in the car. I gave him crap about listening to music and not working and he said he was listening for noises. He has tiny microphones that clip on different components on the car and switch from six inputs. Works awesome if you have to listen to a noise while driving or you're buy yourself.
