Hood grills

Hi,
I found a set of hood grills in my stuff that I had purchased a while back here in Iran. They are aluminum color and seem to be new and untouched. What models were they used on?

They are E9, not E3.

I do not know the exact year of build for these types. There have been a few versions from BMW during production and after, but also repro's.

Do I spot correctly that:

- they are plastic, not any kind of cast metal?
- they are in 2 shades of chrome: shiny (at least the underside) and matt gloss finish on the total top and side surfaces?
- is there a transition of matt chrome on sides to bright chrome on top like on the attached picture? (It looks to me yours are matt all over)

Your set seems to have a totally matt appearance when installed on a car.
That matches to this single right fender grille that I have:

Yes, it’s all mat finish inside and outside and plastic. I had seen this finish on E3s, but not E9 as of yet.

Hello, the price is about $140.00 the thing is you can not send it to US but you can send it to Europe, I am Iranian and have SHAH passport soon will be valid, and mullah will be gone shah son comes back and country back in normal like 57, I pray for VICTORY AND GOD BLESS IRANIAN they are really brave

If you could send in US I would buy from you but I do not think I could even send money there but soon everything will be back in normal after VICTORY
