Sale Pending-Thanks!

I am expecting this to be sold today but will answer in turn if not- You guys are very cool- Really, thanks!

Well, it's not an e9 but it is German. I'm running out of room in the warehouse and I have a really nice '86 911 Targa Carrera that I'm selling on craigslist. I would offer a discount to any forum members if there was interest. Sorry if I'm detracting from the bloodline. I'm asking 20K, but would be happy to negotiate.

Also selling my 07 Shelby, the only one I'm not selling is the e9 :-)

What a great looking little P-car - but it must be rough in TX in the summer! Good luck w/ the sale.

Yes

The first couple that came by purchased the car. Very nice folks who have a little extra cash and wanted a week-end driver, heck if I knew it would have been that easy! Of course not a single offer on the 07 Shelby?? As I said below, the only one I'm keeping is the blue e9 Way too much time, energy and $ in that car to sell, plus I think it's one of the best looking cars ever made! Wish it wasn't so hot down here- not even contemplating taking it out until the temp drops below 90-

With the prices the way they are on the 911 recently you gave the car away at $20,000. Not surprised it sold right away. That was a minimum $25k car. Don't be surprised if it comes up for sale in a week or two for a considerably higher price.

well..

Verde, I hope that's not the case because I would like to see someone enjoy it as I so infrequently did. between 2000 and 2015 I think I put 4,000 miles on her and if I kept her without driving her more I would probably have had to sink lots of cash into her, I kept the price what I considered fair since it had a little over 150K on the clock and although she ran flawlessly, I have no evidence that even the top end was rebuilt, let alone the cases so I figured the high miles warranted the lower price. These cars are fairly common down here in Austin but I think I have my hands full with the e9's and trying to simplify my life a little (priceless) :-)

Thanks for all the great comments from all you folks!!

Porsche sale

I for one think you are very brave. Many of us here have way too many cars/projects that take time from just being with family and friends. Admitting something must give and really acting on it...well I applaud you Peter.
I know deep down I will never get to the polishing of the exterior of my 1967 Airstream Overlander Land Yacht, and it has become something of a lawn ornament in my yard. I really enjoy taking the Coupe out and participating in local Club functions as time permits, and also enjoy outings in my Healey. But there is only so much time, funds, energy, and room to store all these projects. Congratulations, a sensible move! Mike
