i know a collector, not even far from my home , that has the M1's in all the colors ! I have seen them.
They weren't expensive when new.
 
My buddy looked at this car. Guys been pumping it for at least 2 years. Based on my conversations, it sounds like a car with a story and people shopping for an M1 in this market level, don't necessarily like stories.

He's also part owner in that auction site and using the car to drum up interest in the site. Non of it appears to be be working out for him...
 
A lot of coin. If I was in the market for a classic sports car around $500k, it'd probably be a Ferrari Daytona hardtop or a Aston Martin DB5.
