I have seen "Hugh's" car. Oh My. The seller or agent at that time told me that Barbie Benton had had it on the race track at least twice. Brought tears to my eyes and a rancid taste to my mouth.
The car was rough but what screwed the pooch on the deal was the seller or was he the sellers agent? Lets just say that he and I came from different cultural backgrounds.
I wouldn't have bought an falafel from him much less a car. Price of the car changed by the minute and who actually owned the car changed by the hour.
Lets hope the owner is now representing the owner.

Barbie Benton was never Hef's wife but longtime girl friend. If any of you ever saw the Playboy she was in there were some photos of her with a sailor. That would have been about 1967 and I was in the Navy with the guy.

He said she was really nice but no connection between him and her and he was just used for the photo shoot. Always thought she was a beauty back in the day.
