The Huntington Beach Concours will be held on Sunday August 1st this year at the Central Park Library in Huntington Beach. I think this is the eighth year that I have been organizing the BMW Classes and in 2019 we had 40 BMWs in four classes, judged and display. We always have a great mix of vintage, 1600/2002, e3, e9, e30 and other cars. Registration is at www.hbconcours.org, once registered you can pay using the PayPal button. If you are in the greater SoCal area please consider joining us this year.

Thanks Chris. Looks like a terrific event & way more affordable & manageable than the La Jolla Concours. Count me in! My coupe should be pretty dialed in by summer.

Thanks to everyone who came today even though it was a bit disorganized, not our BMWs but the show in general. I will update this week.

Here's a decent photo of "E9 Row" from yesterday's Huntington Beach Concours. Many thanks to @HBChris for organizing, judging, & promoting a terrific showing of classic BMWs at this event. It was a blast & great to meet many very fun & knowledgeable SoCal BMW folks. Hope to see you guys in the San Diego area sometime soon.

Cheers!
-Tom

Just a couple pics, if you belong to the BMW CCCA and I hope you do, there will be an article and more photos in the Winter edition.

The 2000CS belongs to Rey Rivera, he had the Borrani wire wheels made as they were sold back in the day by Alpina for these cars. My wife helped me at the end when the awards presentations fell apart due to lack of a computer operator. BTW, the coupe is done. We adjusted doors yesterday and polished a few minor issues, I am showing it at the San Marino Classic on August 22nd for its final judging which last occurred in 2013 at O’fest in Monterey. I don’t need more awards and would rather see others experience that thrill.
