For those old enough to know the reference, "Lowenbrau moment", well, this may feel like a Lowenbrau moment. So be it!

I have owned some really cool cars... 1991 NSX. 1974 DeTomaso Pantera. 1964 Corvette. 2001 Dodge Viper GTS. 2002 Chevy Corvette Z06. There's something about the 3.0 CS that takes things to another level. It's like having an affinity for a woman you have known for years and then suddenly realizing your affinity for this woman goes deeper and into the true love zone. Since I first laid my eyes on the E9 well before I became a verified car guy, I knew it was a special car.

On October 5, 2026 my 1975 CSi was delivered via transport from Jupiter, FL. From that moment the feelings I have for this car are different. They are more. Yes-- it's just a material thing, not a living thing. From all of the cars I have owned this one just feels extra special. Maybe it's the combination of being a classic that looks good, delivers satisfying performance, and that can be driven every day. I think it's like seeing an especially beautiful woman walking down the street. You've seen many beautiful women, but you just can't take your eyes off this one.

I can't say enough good things about this great community. In the few days I have been a member, I have already connected with so many friendly and helpful people. Special acknowledgment goes to SFDon. His keen eye and interest to help beyond the parts I have purchased from him is definitely a Lowenbrau moment!

So, just another case of car infatuation? I don't think so, but maybe so.
