Power Brake Exchange in San Jose- contact Cathi.
Martin the manager has been caught ripping the business off.
Cathi the owner is in discussions in making customers whole.
keep in mind when the guy behind the counter offers a cash discount he’s pocketing the money in this case let’s think in terms of 2 million bucks. He got my business for $5k

.

He has cancer- when he went into the hospital there was longer anyone to keep the balls in the air.

The angry calls started coming in to the head office and they found out they had a disaster on their hands.

This is why CPAs are required to take their annual vacations.

Why is that?
It is vastly more difficult to cover a ponzi scheme or other financial fraud if you have to step away and allow someone else to take control of the books.

yikes ... glad he has been rooted out - hopefully he is in jail
He is deceased.

When he got sick with cancer, his juggling act stopped all the balls hit the ground at once he died three weeks ago.

Power Brake Exchange has been making good with all of my parts that disappeared

Recommend now that people go to them and get a great job done

I am sorry to bump this old thread.

I need to send my brake booster for a rebuild and would like to get it back when done! :) Is the Power Brake Exchange in Carson City, NV the best place for this kind of work? (Or are they not responding?)

Thank you!

W@N has the early one one sale:

Thank you folks.
I have a booster, and I just need it gone through versus buying new unless if it’s necessary.

if anybody has any recommendations, please advise. in the FAQ best sources, there are only 2 recommendations - tii boosters from @halboyles or power brake exchange. i have added a caution to PBE for the time being.

I have used ABS Power Brake in Orange, CA. These places can't be rare, just search for someplace local.
Thank you Chris! I called and spoke with a very competent gentleman. And I just shipped him my BMW booster.

Chris while that might be true in CA, not necessarily the case elsewhere. since the ATS T-51 boosters were used on BMW, Volvo, Porsche + Mercedes, the search is probably to check with local vintage mechanics and ask who they use. in looking in the ATL area, i found people with experience for GM / Ford boosters but nobody was advertising German cars. i will admit, i didn't look too long / hard.
