The weather has been nice in SoCal. I forgot how much fun it is to drive my 73-911t.

In my (hobby) bucket list I read the following cars to own/renovate:

(The family budget for old cars is pretty low down the priority in the budget...
But the following cars (like my precious) would match. ;-) )

Early Porsche 928
Volvo P1800

The hunt already started to find suitable objects.... :)

Lots of great cars mentioned...

My Oxford Green '95 850 CSi is my first choice, lol.

Would love an Alfa GTV or GTA if I could afford it.

and have had 928's on my radar screen for a while....

Too many cars, not enough money or garage space.

It would have to be the ultra, ultra rare Porsche B32.

Since only eleven B32s were produced I've had to settle for a Subaru powered Westfalia with upgraded brakes (4-wheel Audi discs), suspension (Konis, f&r sway bars, and 16" wheels), and re-engineered air conditioning (f&r evaporators and under the floor aux condenser). Although this is certainly not the Porsche, it may be closer to a B32 than to the original VW. After 20 years and 500,000 km, this has been great fun and good training for E9 ownership, as if 24 years with a tii (purchased new in '72) and 6 years with a '77 635csi (close ratio transmission) were not enough.
