I am looking for the electrical section of an igintion switch for a 71 3.0

I don't need the tumbler section, just the end electrical switch.

the electrical part is still available from BMW, but its a bit pricy ...

Hi Rick - I asked Jim at Mesa and he can supply the 77-78 320i part and they modify the wire ends for a perfect fit.

They sell it for $82.00.

Thanks to everyone who replied, I am going to go the 320i route. Thanks to Richard for this info.

As far as modifying the switch, I like that idea.
