So I had the injectors gone through at FIC some months back. It didn't fix the running issue but it eliminated that as a potential.

About a month ago, I started the car and immediately noticed raw fuel smell. In looking at the injectors, the 2 rear injectors were leaking at the hose clamps on the fuel rail. I tightened the original clamps as much as I could. Only about 1.5 turns to max. It appeared to stop the leak but on the next start a few weeks after that episode, the same thing happened again. Rear 2 injectors.

I figured the hose thickness on the replacement hoses must be a tad thinner causing the issue but the others didn't leak. Weird. I pulled the rear 3 c-tube's and removed the original injection clamps and put new, slightly smaller injection clamps on and I thought that was done. I turned the key a few times to put pressure back in the system and they still leak!!

Any ideas as to what could be the issue?

Did the pipe fittings get damaged when the old hose was cut off?
I have Csl fuel rails at shop

Not damaged but I did cut them off. Think a slight razor induced scrape on the fuel rail nipple could cause issues?

Got a pic of hose clamp you are using?

Yup. Here are the ones that were on the car and the ones I replaced it with.

The primary issue (I thought) was the the inability of the ones on the car to tighten down enough.

I believe I've disproved that theory and believe it related to the fuel rail and my ham-fisted removal process with a razor knife, but would like to hear your theory...

Is there a number on that clamp?
Got a pic of the printing on the hose?

We have correct clamps and correct hose and Csl fuel rail parts.

Looks like there is a 15 on the clamp.

I'll call you and discuss. No tienes demasiadas cafecitos en La Habana!

Best to match clamp to hose. 13mm hose needs 13mm clamp.

Pulled the plenum and fuel rail off. Cleaned up the nipples (they looked fine) and put it back together with good Aga 13mm clamps, and no leaks. I'm sure something else will crop up in a months time...
