So I had the injectors gone through at FIC some months back. It didn't fix the running issue but it eliminated that as a potential.
About a month ago, I started the car and immediately noticed raw fuel smell. In looking at the injectors, the 2 rear injectors were leaking at the hose clamps on the fuel rail. I tightened the original clamps as much as I could. Only about 1.5 turns to max. It appeared to stop the leak but on the next start a few weeks after that episode, the same thing happened again. Rear 2 injectors.
I figured the hose thickness on the replacement hoses must be a tad thinner causing the issue but the others didn't leak. Weird. I pulled the rear 3 c-tube's and removed the original injection clamps and put new, slightly smaller injection clamps on and I thought that was done. I turned the key a few times to put pressure back in the system and they still leak!!
Any ideas as to what could be the issue?
