Posting here only because I know from time to time we post links to this auction. The name is quite misleading as I came to find out private sellers put their cars in the auction and put reserves on their cars but nowhere in the auction does it show it has a reserve until you win the auction and they refuse to release the car to you only to say " Sorry but the car had a reserve".
A close friend bid on a BMW two weeks ago where he was outbid last minute, he was very disappointed but to his surprise the car came up for auction again yesterday. He called to ask why car was relisted and he was not contacted as he was the second highest bidder if the high bidder did not go through with purchase? He was told this car has never been up for auction and it's the first time which is completely false. He bids again in yesterdays auction and wins the car but they refuse to release it and no one has an answer why. Hours later he gets a call from the auction that the owner wants more for the car and will not be selling it. Car is now up for auction again next week but if you call and ask they will tell you it's the first time this car is being auctioned.
