INTERIOR COLORS

Cut a small piece from under a seat and send to Leatherique, they matched my Marine Blue perfectly.

+1 on Leatherique custom matching colors. Consider getting a small jar of their crack filler too. You can use them to freshen up nicks in the door and kick panels.

Alan,

You can get samples of leather from GAHH, or World leather, I've gotten 3-4 at a time from each. WHEN you decide on the color, check with Leather Magic - www.leathermagic.com . They have a LOT of automotive leather color formulas, so you don't have to have a custom blend - which is costly. I've used Leatherique, ColorPlus - www.colorplus.com - and Leather Magic dyes. I prefer the last two to Leatherique. Just my opinion.

I could be wrong but I thought a custom color match is required because Alan does not want to dye the entire interior ( just touch up some areas ).

IF he identifies the color he has from some swatches he gets from GAHH and/ior World Up., then he probably can get a matched color from Leather Magic. If not, he can get a custom match to a piece of his current leather (a 1" square piece cut from the back seats where it is glued to the fiberglass pan in the back) sent to Color Plus (Joanne runs the company and is great to work with).

Alan,

Joanne will match the color of the sample you send. IF your leather is faded from sun exposure, the 'dye' (it's not really dye, but the same paint that was used on the Leather originally), will be the same color as that sample you send. I have, on occasion bought enough to completely restore all the leather in the interior to the OE color if I found my 1" sample was different than the faded leather.
