Hi All
This is my 74 csi after been striped and ready for welding, surprisingly little rust, unlike my UK originated CSL which i am still working on, thought you might like to see it.

Hey Joe,

that looks like a nice car - are the A posts solid?

Any pics of the csl? What chassis number is it?

Where in Ireland are you?

Regards,

Rohan

A pillars are solid with no rust, road salt was not used in Ireland until about 10 years ago so the floors, wheel arches and booth are all solid. I hope to complete the restoration within 6 months. Will post CSL pictures and details if your interested
Joe

Yes please!

I think there are 3 csls in Ireland now then.

I plan to drive over in mine this summer (Dublin, then Kerry) if i get it back on the road soon.

Regards,

Rohan

tanzanite blue! It's not the original color but very close to the baikal blue (042) it started out life with. i have a couple of cars this color and it it really looks good with chrome, it may not be for the purest but i will be living with the car!

Lovely colour and will show off the brightwork. Will you put cal stripes on her? I.didnt think there were any rhd csls in Baikal. What chassis no is yours?

Don't think I will put the stripes on her, as for the color, I got the car in Portsmouth in poor condition from a guy who had it over 20 years, I don't know if it was manufactured first day with the color, maybe you could throw some light on the subject, none of the Vin checks gave me any details on the car, I will post the numbers when I get down to the garage.

Hi joe I live in Dublin I own a 1972 CSA but I'm looking to get my headliner done from start to finish can you help?

Hi Niall, I drove my Gold CSl to Kerry last year and remember thinking while in Limerick for a day that I must have been in the only Csl in that area nevermind in a loud colour but alas no!

Which chassis number is your car?

Whereabouts in Limerick are you based?

Regards,

Rohan

Hi Rohan

It's chassis #18 (one of the drive back cars. A Dublin based businessman bought it off the dealer and brought it into the country in '73). I'm on the south side of the city.

Regards
Niall
