Has anyone used these Italian lenses which are part amber, part clear lenses ? Did you keep them on, or did you go back to Amber ?

Can't stand fully behind this as i haven't seen a ton of examples, but i'd guess they probably look better against dark paint than they do light. Also something to consider is that if you plan on using them with US assemblies, you'll have to dremel off about 1/4" of the reflector shield to get them to seat.

Agree with bimmerboy, I borrowed one for my Polaris coupe and did not like the look. The buddy with them has Verona and they look better on his car.

the ones for 65 bucks are coming from Brazil. yes coupeguy has them for sale for 150, LJI has them for 178 ... i have heard some people prefer the ones that LJI has ... mine are from coupeguy, and i am happy with them. i have a set on my black car, and i agree they look great on a darker car. i thought about the clear ones, but i didn't like the look on the black car ... M5bb has the clear ones on his dark blue coupe and they look good. the full amber just jumps off of the black car, that's why i wanted to reduce the color ...

I think Carl's has the correct brand name molded in the lens (Sidler), others do not, worth the difference to me at least.

Yes all European lenses require it. Easy to do.

I got my orange euro's from Germany for $63.50 delivered.

Do all of the different Italian lens require dremeling the reflector lens for US coupes ?

I put them on my '73 CSi since it was delivered to Italy. I think they look great on Fjord.

I have had many different flavor lenses on my white coupe. I ended up going back to the original amber as my coupe still has the side markers and it looks in-correct having Italian lenses with US side markers..

I simply like how amber looks on Chamonix. I did convert from USA to Euro lenses though. I like the clear on a Polaris car

I love those Italian turn signals, but I hate to be 100% positive so I will ask if Italians do use turn signals.

BMW could have just painted the marker into the fender for that market.
