Italian Turn Signal Lenses

I love those Italian turn signals, but I hate to be 100% positive so I will ask if Italians do use turn signals.

BMW could have just painted the marker into the fender for that market.

In Italy, as in Massachussetts, use of turn signals is a sign of weakness.
Also, rear view mirrors "what's behind you is not important"

yes - as quoted from the movie the Gumball Rally ... as the guys sits in the ferrari ... "the first rule of italian driving, <rips the mirror off> what's behind you is NOT important"

It seems to me, at least in the photos, that these look more orange than amber.
Has anyone on the forum purchased these Italian lenses from this eBay seller from Brazil ?

If you've purchased the clear turn signal lenses and weren't too thrilled with the appearance afterwards, another option is to create your own Italian clear/amber lens....or personalize it even further with a custom design.

Parts needed:
Can (or two) of orange/amber plastic lens spray paint.
Painters masking tape
sharp razor blade
a pair of steady hands

In the listing on ebay, it says you have to shave off/cut away sone of the lense, can anyone elaborate on this?

It will make sense when you try to put the euro lenses in. There's a reflector /shield located in the center of the housing. It's is sized and contoured to match US style lenses. Being that the euros are lower profile, that reflector needs to be shaved about 1/4" to make the lens fit. Simple mod if you have a dremel. Literally 30 seconds a side.

Mpower,

Please show us a photo of the completed lens.
