It was only a 2 minute drive from where the transport was parked to my house. Upon parking my first ever E9 in the garage next to my daily driver, a 2003 330i sedan, it was like David and Goliath. The E9 looked diminutive compared to the 330i, yet my 330i is compact compared to most modern cars. The CSi almost felt frail. I suppose it's the sleek silhouette and precision of how the engine bonnet and boot bonnets are hinged and open and close.

The e9s do feel frail compared to new cars, in part because they are much much lighter. And sitting in the drivers seat, the high beltlines, huge A and B pillars, and windshields extended way into the hood make for a much different feel than that of a coupe.

Your car looks great by the way.

Your new car looks small next to the 3 series, but thump the same panel on both - the CS has much thicker steel. Compared to my 2019 530e which has a lot of aluminum panels, the CS is downright solid, though it only weighs a fraction of the 530e.
