Korman Autoworks is closing

Thanks for sharing Drew. Ray has had an amazing career. I hope he enjoys his well earned retirement. I am a little surprised that he doesn’t have a team member interested in running the operation.

A little hard to interpret. Are items with a cost of $0.00 just not available? That was my assumption. Toolkit for $469 could be worthwhile if it includes the tools…

Ah, I had just gotten a response with the same
PDF from my email yesterday. Here’s the relevant info:

Please see the attached PDF file/files. Depending upon your request, this may require multiple emails.

Part numbers with a “U” at the end are used parts. Most have $0.00 as a sell price., please make an offer on these. Used parts with a price are as priced. Payment can be made via Bank Wire transfer, Check or Credit Card (Add 3% for credit card). All prices are F.O.B. Greensboro, NC. All sales are final.

How do I biy

The headers say big six. Does that mean they are 1.75 in or smaller? Should I call or email? Will they ship? what is INTAKE M30 W/3 DCOES?
You can look up the item by the part number listed to the left of the description. That should pull up the actual BMW part so yuou're sure of what you're potentially getting

if they are stahl, they will not be 1.75", they will probably be 1.375" as that is the size that Korman + Stahl dyno tested with his stage 2+ engines as the best performance match. Ray said you needed to be a true stage 3 to go to 1.5" (around 275+ hp) ... 1.75 was race only. when we did the group buy before stahl closed, Jere Stahl said - unless you are going to build a real fire-breather ... don't waste your time with really big headers. those were very wise words from 2 people who knew a thing or 2 about the subject.

big 6 means m30 engine. i would take the meaning of intake m30 w/ 3 webers to mean 3 weber dcoe carbs with intake manifold. question is 40 or 45 dcoe? probably 40 which goes along the same category engine as the 1.375" stahl (stage 2 - 230 to 250 hp)

I didn't know what a Korman manifold was, but fortunately there are photos here on e9coupe..

I read "INTAKE M30 W/3 DCOES" as "Intake for M30 with 3 DCOEs". I doubt they're selling an intake manifold plus 3x DCOE carburetors for $250.

Just one good used DCOE is worth more than $250.
