I see the bump stops on the parts diagram but have no idea of the physical location of them, the car did not have any. Does the 1975 actually use these bump stops? If so where do they thread into?

It appears the white round plastic limits the top and bottom of the regulator
Yes, used from mid 73 thru 75 with the later motors, just adjust the bolt so the glass is almost even with the chrome sill trim and same for when up.

No, only on early sardine can motors.
