These are some great shots, and thanks for sharing. I am a little concerned about this guy who seems to have herniated a disk while trying to pull the Automatic badge off of the back of my Coupe.

I chipped my airdam turing around getting in line with the other coupes at The Vintage in NC. Didn't scrape going in, but sure scraped on the way out, chipped the lowest part of the center part of the lip. I was furious at myself, still am. :x

After the Michelin bridge you see turn 4, a great spectator spot, and then the BMW Festorics area on the left right before the Mother's bridge. Our cars will be in the infield area next.

Concurs judging question

How does the the judging work at Legends? Is it a concours event encompassing originality, wear and tear, as well as cleanliness or is simply a clean car contest?

The CCA Concours d' in Boston is divided into:
clean - interior & exterior only 130 points
super clean - interior, exterior, engine compartment, & trunk 170 points
concours - all of the above plus undercarriage 210 points

plus 1 point/10k miles up to 10 points
plus 1 point/10 years of age up to 5 points

Vintage 1st & 2nd gen.
Modern 3rd & 4th gen.
Late 5th & 6th gen.

Display only class.

Unfortunately we don't judge originality, just cleanliness. Chuck's coupes were very original, I wish we could document several examples to save for posterity. And we use dots for every instance of dirt, 4 dots equals one point deduction, max scale 100 points for concours. I don't know how the 1-10 scale works when it is subjective. Ours is based on evidence. 2002, Coupe and M class are all concours, we have an open concours class plus clean and super clean. Clean is exterior, super clean adds interior/trunk, concours adds engine bay and undercarriage.
