Last August, for various reasons, I sold my 1976 BMW 2002. Some of you may remember the auction, some of you made kind and useful comments. She sold for a sort of record of $34,500. And she was an automatic with ac. The buyer loved her, but was soon smitten with a rare MB Station Wagon and traded Lilli for the wagon. The "dealer" turned around and put Lilli up on BaT for the second time.
She sold well but not as well as for me.
Now the current owner, an Arizona resident and long time 2002 lover is forced for health reasons, to sell her. Chris, wkohler here on e9, has done some prep for the sale and and is handling the BaT Ad. Please take a look, it is up now. In a post today, Van, the owner, has explained in detail his reasons for selling. Serious health issues that prevent him from driving Lilli.
I hope some of you will watch and post during the auction. As we all know, a car that appears three times in less than a year is suspect. In Van's case there is nothing to be suspect about!!!
Thanks,
Steve ONeill
