NMNA! Just saw this lonesome 71 e9 on Facebook Market Place NJ. $25999 asking price seems ambitious to say the least. It’s minutes from me but I’m always reluctant to go see a car when I believe the price is nutty. But would have a look if someone needs eyes on it.
Not much in way of details. Has some rust (shocking), no time to restore and hasn’t run since 2003. Has an NJ inspection sticker on the windshield so at some point it saw the roads in northeast.
Looks to be a euro spec car, no AC, rear fog light etc...

visible mold and moss has not discouraged other members from jumping into e9 ownership!

Yikes! You couldn’t pay me to take on a project like that. :D

Honestly it is a good example that most things can be restored. The steering wheel above is in Stan’s car now.

Peter Coomaraswamy restored a car that was pretty much riddled with mold.
The car itself was pretty good. As long as you have an N95 respirator mask or better yet a fit-tested cartridge filter mask you will survive! :D

I know a bit about this car and even inspected it. If anyone is seriously interested, send a PM...
