Looking for a 4 speed manual trans

Located in Philadelphia, PA area. The car in question is a '72 Bavaria so early trans' will work. I have a replacement from a '77 3.0S and apparently it does not work because of the clutch slave ball pin is external on the early ones and internal ( not thru the bell housing) on the later cars.

Can anyone help?

I have one, and the bellhousing if you need it. The Getrag 262, based on the synchro activation process you are describing.
