Ladies and gents,
I have a strange request, but as I know a good few of you made it to Pebble this year, you may be able to help in this quest. I had two cars on the lawn, one the blue Batmobile many of you now know and the Peter Gregg/Frank Stella M1 Procar.
I drove the Procar on the field and Jennifer drove the Batmobile, but then she ran back to the room to get the nose of the Procar. One of the kind guys with his golf cart, stopped to help her, only problem was it wouldn't fit inside, so they put the nose on the roof and she rode fireman style on the back of the cart holding the nose in place from our room to where we were on the field.
Apparently lots of people smiled, cheered and even took pictures, but sadly we do not have one of this iconic incident in the history of the car.
Did anybody here take a picture of this seminal incident in the cars life, or knows of one, we would be very very grateful.
Thanks
Pete
