A guy from pitt meadows or Port Coquitlam or Langley picked this car and a big truckload full of my old parts. When he was leaving I called him back and gave him the wooden steering wheel and I can’t remember if I gave him the Vin plate I took from the car. I’m cleaning out my shop and I’m curious if I should still be looking for that vin number.

So if anyone recognizes this car and effect has it please let me know

I’d like to know what the Vin number was and whatever happened to the car. It was a dear friend of mine’s.

For a minute I thought this might refer to Al Larson. He disappeared along with a huge stash of my parts. I was not the only one; many people's parts and money went to Al, only to never be seen again. Sounds like you were fortunate enough not to deal with him. Good luck with being reunited with your old Coupe. As for Al, he must be in the Witness Protection Program...

Yeah - I remember Al Larson disappearing... So did Brian Capp (here in the Seattle area). Brian used to be 'the 2002 guru' back in the day....

Too bad on whatever happened to both these guys -
Brian did work on my 2002 but I never felt good about leaving my car with him. I only did that once. I heard of others who lost nice parts and/or their entire car to whatever Brian did with it.... Too bad as he knew his stuff - but the bottle got the better of him and that ended that (I think). Don't know about what happened to Al....

This would make sense. Thank you! I forget.

Anyone else?
