Fairly certain the BMW part number is 32. 1101 908.9. Actually stamped on the side of the steering box too

mine also has the Zf Number 7320955153

from a ‘74 Bavaria.

I am investigating how to tighten my steering. About an inch of play in the steering wheel, and approximately a tenth of a turn at the u-joint. If I can just adjust the screw at the top I will. But I may need to rebuild it.
