(Just posted this on the E3 forum too).
Since I have had no luck finding a replacement 3HP20 for my '71 Bavaria (and can't find anyone to do a rebuild due to lack of parts, etc.), I have decided maybe now is the time to do a 5 speed conversion. Therefore, I am looking for a pedal assembly, which to the best of my knowledge, need to be from an E3 or E9 only. If anyone has a set they are willing to part with let me know. (Or, if anyone has any new info on an alternative to using the E3/E9 pedals, let us all know!)
Thanks!

Thanks Chris, good to know, and I am sure I will be hitting you guys up once I start the process. Now just hoping someone with a spare set of pedals sees this post!

These are the pieces I have except for a complete 2000cs pedal box.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

I have this to sell, located in Germany. Shoot me a message we can work something out if that’s what you need. Cheers

James - to clarify what I was wanting, here is a picture taken from JMinNJ's previous post from a couple years ago.

@JamesE30 and @LarE9;
I may be able to use the parts that @LarE9 doesn't need, if that helps to do the deal.

But it needs a check first: I'm gathering parts to convert to an adjustable steering wheel and 5spd transmission setup: I already have the pedals for a 5spd, but lacking the appropriate pedal box with the provisions for the adjustable steering column.
@JamesE30 ; Is the pedal box you are offering the version that allows for the adjusting? If so, then I'd be happy to take all what's left after sending the pedals to @LarE9. I'm in the Netherlands, so shipment wouldn't be stupidly expensive I think.

It is a late model box, I also have a complete adjustable steering column though there is some damage around the key area. Would be happy if all parts can find a home and be of use

Just wondering if it's possible to change both pedals.
This iswhat I have for pedals.

Thanks for digging those up Koopman! However, as Chris said, they look like they are out of something completely different.

I am now on the hunt again for another tranny, the one I thought I had lined up turned out to be a 260 not a 265. I am always open to someone gifting me a functioning 3HP20 to drop back in there just so I can at least drive the car for now, rather than it taking up precious garage space!

I recently saw one for sale for $1000. Not sure where but it was on C
I will try to find it and let u know.

Thanks for the heads up. I think the one you are thinking of is the one on EBay. There are a few on ebay, but they are all located outside of CONUS unfortunately (therefore $$$ with shipping!).

LarE9,

I have a spare snorkel from a 72 CS with the master cylinder on it that I am getting ready to sell with a lot of other parts. I do not have the pedals. Start a conversation and I can send you some pictures directly. I'm not far away.
Regards, Jon

Hi Lare9. Would a non dog leg tranny from a 1985 E28 535i work?
Yes, if it is the transmission that came with the car stock, I believe so. RealOEM shows that car came with a 265/6. Maybe someone can chime in on this to confirm.
