Looking for gearing opinions

My 4.1 is for sure LSD, and I haven't gotten anywhere looking for a 3.25. I did email diff online, got no reply & just been busy working around the yard, garden, house for spring clean-up. I might think about an open differential, but here in Maine it's very to find snow off season and a posi rear in snow is handy~
Still looking~
I have a 3.25 open diff in Albany ga. Pm me if interested

Do you know if this is an early or late? SFDon said in an earlier post that if I find an early unit I can use my limited slip parts from the 4.10 unit I have to make it an LSD, so do you know or have photos that show the difference?

It’s from a 73’ 3.0csi.

Do we know what year the differential went from 8 to 10 bolt or could someone explain what the bolt on side flanges that look different are? In the above post Bejoe16 has 3.25 and SFDon also has, I think, more than one, If I can get my "posi" unit in any of these I want it! First we need to know if any are "early" next, cost and shipping! Sure will be nice getting better gearing!!!

I think the difference is early diffs including e9 had a bolt holding the flanges on and later cars from e12 era have a flange that pops off. All e9 have the bolt on flange.

Rod, you might want to call ... you might inquire about swapping out the ring + pinion in your LSD from 4.11 to 3.25 or 3.45
