I am looking for a blue velour interior for my 1972 3.0cs. Any thoughts on where to find material to re-do the seats or anyone that has a clean set of front or rear seats? 301-215-4771 Thanks in advance.

Blue velour interior for a 1972 3.0CS

Tough to find good stuff. We had a 1972 3.0CS done in blue velour and blue vinlyl bolsters by Universal Interiors in Costa Mesa, CA for a car that was going back East--turned out great.

John, owner of Universal tracked down some of the last remaining yardage here in the western US--perhaps there is some still available--tell him of your need and tell him that Murray sent you--he knows me from a number of BMW Coupes's that we have had done at his shop. He has about 45 years of upholstery exerience starting in Hungary--he does have a fairly heavy accent.

Blue velour interior for a 1972 3.0CS

Thanks for the email back. I called him tonight and we spoke for a while. He knows his cars. I found the center material in the Navy Blue striped velour from World Trim and Upholstery this week, but they are having a tough time finding the bolster (solid material for the top side sections) color to match. He recomended GAHH, but their web site only shows leather seating material. The costs were almost double of World Trim's leather cost. I am considering doing the seats in leather if I cannot find the correct material. Has anyone delt with World Trim or GAHH. GAHH's top fits perfectly as my local upholster ordered it from them on my 1988 325i. Thanks in advance.
