Hello all,

I found an ad on CL for some coupe parts in Hawaii. Before I send him some money I would love to see if by chance a forum member might be out there and could confirm that this is legit.

Unfortunately it looks like he is on the big island near Kailua. Well, when I say unfortunately, that is only because it seems to be a little out of the beaten path... I'm sure he is pretty fortunate to live there...

Wish I could help but I'm in Honolulu.

I know a former coupe driver who moved to Kailua-Kona but we haven't spoken in maybe 3-4 years. He had a remnant of a very nice coupe that I had known through four previous owners but we couldn't get his Weber 32/36s to idle well at all. Now, a long time later, I speculate that I know why, but the coupe is gone as his father took it back. I haven't seen it in a long time.

R/T to Keahole Airport from Honolulu is about $200, send me a check and when it clears I'll tootle over there.

Coupe parts in Kona are maybe from the guy who was advertising the repainted brown CS a year or so ago... the paint looked nice but much was unsaid. I would have been very careful if looking at that car.

Thanks very much for the offer Charlie. This is from a 2800cs. He also has an eBay account and he is 100% positive over 200+ transactions. So I think he is legit.

Have you talked to the seller? You can email him here if you don't want to deal with EBay. I talked to him the day the parts went up but decided to pass based on pricing.

I bought an under dash panel from him. Seemed legit. Communication was good. Panel was is so so shape (and represented as so) but at $75 with shipping it will do....
