Looking for this type of basket weave? vinyl for my 73 cs?

Trying to find this vinyl so I can re-do
My back seat, can't seem to find this anywhere
Looking for enough to do back seat or at least enough to patch sun burned area on top of seat.

It has been NLA for years, I think BMW only sells raw yardage in black, perhaps blue.

2002's used the same seat material, and there is a semi-constant stream of '02 seats for sale. Buy the seats, cannibalize the vinyl. I covered an entire set of E21 recaros with original, salvaged vinyl. The catch is that lots of the material is stiff and has permanent memory from the frame it's been stretched over for 40+ years. But it is doable if you're willing to keep buying material; eventually you'll have enough.

I have some material similar to this stuff on my old Bavaria seats. They're stored in my garage so I'll post up some pics later today. I can strip the vinyl off them if you need it.

Veteran, GAHH, World, nothing exists and they all get from the same manufacturers.

I would pick the lumbar rather than the cushion material, especially if I will have to live with such permanent memories.

Strange that they do not keep making such noble vinyl material.
