LSD for the 2800CS?

Hello,

can anyone tell if the 2800CS always came with an LSD all over the globe or were there also markets where the 2800CS had the LSD only as an option? The 2800 E3 always came with an LSD until 5/1971 as far as I know....

I have a none LSD diff (3.45) from a 2800 here in the UK, it came out of a 1971 car

My '70 Euro 2800CS (Vienna delivery) had a 3.45 (11/38 stamp) LSD.
I believe the LSD is an early original unit based on the very tiny 'S' stamp discovered when I replaced it with a later unit with the larger painted 'S'.

what's the most desirable LSD to get that handles the most power and has 40% lock?

The 2800 had a 3.45 LSD as standard, in coupes it was an option here in the US. And the US 3.0CS had a 3.64 non-LSD as standard, LSD was an option.
