Is that a "bolt in" job?
Just wondering as it might save me faffing about with my none LSD diff

Yes its just a bolt on. It is the same as one from an E12 M535I so will fit an E9 or E3. I know this as I have one I am going to put on my E3.

if that diff is from a 635 its very likely a 3.07 ratio.... limited slip or not you need to think hard about whether this will work for you or turn your car into a slug
