When I pulled my car cover off the elastic pulled the rubber strip on the rear bumper off. Perhaps two clips holding it on.

Carl said two weeks three weeks ago. So reaching out to the group.

Also, any hints or tips for re-attaching? I am not looking forward to removing the bumper.

Thanks,

Steve,
Under the rubber strip there are metal strips that hold the rubber to the chrome, I assume that these are what you mean.
I got mine from W+N, a couple of year ago to replace the rusted out ones, not a hard job.
Paint the strips first, clean up the bumpers, note which way the replacement strips are mounted, bend them to fit( at this point a smart man would repaint... I didn’t) drill new holes in the same spot a as the old one and rivet them on, remount freshly cleaned rubbers, stand back and open cold one. Good luck.

Cheers John

Steve: Cheapskate here, one can also use shelf bracket strips from Home Depot. AMHIK
