Hello all. My CS has a 3.5 engine from a 535i with an aftermarket oil temp gauge added, with the sender in the oil pan. The sender and the gauge are VDO, but I cannot find a replacement sender/oil drain plug of the right size. The one I have appears to be m22 1.25 or 1.5(?). I can find plenty of smaller senders, but nothing large enough.
Any thoughts on what this might be from / where I can find a replacement / or where I might find a bushing to bring my oil drain hole down to a more common size for a sender?
