I just noticed this and thought some of you might like it. I haven't read through comments or seen all the pics yet but looks pretty wicked to me. I've always liked the Group 5 e21's. Having a CA title would even make it street legal, correct? I know ID wouldn't care, you strap a briggs and stratton to a frame and four wheels here and you are good to go. Although the cow plow might make it difficult swerving around potholes and driveways. Question for all you racers out there. With the M54, what class would this be eligible for?

See what you think?

Maybe I missed it, but there is not much information given on the modified M54 incl power output? Would not be my choice of engine for such a car...

It’s not street legal in CA without a BAR certification.

It’s also not race legal (in any series I’m aware of) without a full cage.

Such a strange choice to build such a wild car, but forego the very thing that would allow you to use it how it was built.

It’s been for sale locally for months now. I’m not surprised it hasn’t found a buyer.

I guess whoever buys it could take it one way or another or just use it for track days. Even with roll cage, fire suppression equipment, proper dated racing seats (all stuff I don't really know much about but hear about) it still wouldn't fit into any racing series that I know of because of the motor I would think. It makes it a cool looking build, but a confusing build at the same time.
