I'm half-french / half-spanish with Creole roots from New Orleans, LA. This thanksgiving I was in the Northeast visiting family in the vicinity of Boston.

We took a quick trip up to Wells Beach, ME and stopped in at Billy's on the drive to the barrier islands. The lobster bisque and nonesuch red ale were superb; my mom (a master cajun chef) would've enjoyed this if she were still alive. I hope this food shot conveys the amazing lunch I enjoyed...

Here's to family and hopefully meeting more e9coupe members at car shows in the near future....

Bon ton roulet, my friend! I was born in Bâton Rouge my own damn self!

Hal, if you don't mind, as the guy who hails from Cajun country <Lafayette>, dats ... Laissez le bon temps roulez !!! but i gotta agree on the sentiment, that Maine Lobster bisque looks most excellent

I spent 3 years in Baton Rouge…

Lived in 3 houses.

George Caldwell mansion
(George sent to prison for embezzlement from LSU)

Huey Long’s sons house on the lake
(Huey was assassinated)

Son of president of LSU’s house
(Confiscated by IRS)

The governor during my stay was
Edwin Edwards…
(Convicted of corruption, racketeering and extortion)

It’s a hell of a town!
