Did 300km in the CSL on the weekend. What a blast. Literally.
RH window winder failed and glass fell down inside door for last 250km. Least it was a nice day.
Pulled the door trim off and seems the mechanism has failed as there's a spring lying in the bottom of the door. Have the W&N diagram but wondering if anybody had better images of the mechanism as I can't recall them from the restoration and really don't want to pull the other door trim off to have a look.

I have my right door fully disassembled and the mechanically cleaned, so I can snap any picture you want, but i fail to understand which part gave out.

Is it this one?

And cleaned, without spring:

The center mounting point of the spring is known to fail. I believe @deQuincey had a fix for that, somewhere.... He made new center point(s) if I remember correctly.

Ok, so pulled the winder. The failure point is the pin that secures the spring in place. This has allowed the spring to jump off and fall into the bottom of the door. This then allowed the cogs to unmesh and the window and dropped.
