I have two 3.0CS Owner's Handbooks. One is perfect, pristine. The other(probably an original) shows typical light wear. The repro, when I put it next to the original is a slightly lighter shade of burgundy. The original is deeper and a bit brighter.

They appear to be exact in every respect except for a long small font serial number on the back cover. The original has the number 2. IV. 73 imbedded in the longer number.

The repro has 1. III. 74

Can someone explain which is which and perhaps some history?

Any idea of pricing for an original or a repro?

Thanks, Steve

The repros I have seen are all 74 as is yours, the difference is the wiring diagram, operation of switches, etc, some of which are different like turn signals on left of column and wipers.
