Yes, it doesn’t appear these are available except remanufactured, or NOS.
So I screwed up the separation of my valve by forcing too much torque through the housing without enough heat. The result is the photo you see attached. I need the top portion of the housing only, shown with the broken base. The new thermal switch I bought is shown in the picture. Simple design, too much time on my hands!

I’m in absolutely no hurry, take 6 weeks if you need too.
I just donated $50 to the forum. You’re kindness gives me hope.
My shop has rebuilt these for Carl, CK and board members for years. We do require a good core. I will say again- if you try to do this job, I suggest 2 torches and eye protection. Also- besides the SI 596 RD sealant you need another sealant that is not available in some states in the US (including mine). Ebay Australia can help with that.
