Following up on the shock tower repair thread started by Stevehouse - http://www.e9coupe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18208 - what other areas have you seen that could benefit from pre-emptive repair/modification/upgrades before disaster strikes in the middle of nowhere? I'm not talking about rust related failures as that is universal in terms of location. The rear differential mounting area comes to mind.

On the e9 the driver engine mount seems to be a typical stress fracture point. I've repaired and reinforced the driver side engine mount on mine
