What do people do......... wash and reuse them or toss them when done?

You'll spend some time picking fuzz and lint, but around here we wash them.
I wash them, but no fabric softener.
It's a case by case basis. I buy them in boxes of 500, so sometimes if they are greasy dirty I'll just throw them out. Dust, polishes & waxes I wash them.
Interesting. I thought for sure most would toss them.
I wash the ones I detail with, when they get too stained they are then transferred to maintenance, when loaded up with grease and grime beyond the point of no return they get tossed.
Usually my wife wants them back, but then after seeing them declines with a facial expression I am supposed to understand.
Some of you will care, some will not...I first learned about micro-fibers from a product called Ultrasuede c. 1990?... (Volvo, etc. call it Alacantara, or something like that...) Amazing that they could make a product that's first cousin to Travolta's leisure suit, that feel so soft, so much like suede, but so durable....here's why..
They are made of polyester/nylon, so basically plastic. Not really recylable. Can be down-cycled. Can be made from re-cycled plastic, which is better than not...Like all plastic, they are photo-degradable (will break down eventually to micro-plastic...yum..."my grouper has a piquant, Sprite bottle after taste, maybe a hint of Lemon Pledge.."), but never bio-degradable (huge difference) like cotton, wool, wood, or paper, i.e. YMMV.
