Garage cleanup, mostly E9 used parts. Most of the parts are not in great shape but they have the intrinsic value of being original 1972 Verona parts from the coupe owner that really invented the internet, me.
To make it simple any of the numbered items is $20. Two for $40. Plus shipping.
1) Right side Elephant skin, damaged by shock coming through it but did I say it is original?
Local pickup, too brittle to ship.
2) Automatic gear indicator. Perfect condition.
3) Right side US style marker, color a bit faded, has a crack that PO glued.
(There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in - Leonard Cohen)
4) Side grills, usual loss of metal plating in multiple places but better than nothing if you are missing it.
5) Hood grills, a broken finger in one. Usual loss of metal plating in a few places to match item 4). You do not want to mix patina and perfect parts.
6) Two electric window gearboxes, one is seized and the other one moves but the plane
is not quite horizontal anymore. A skilled person may get a good one out of two bad ones.
DeQuincey can get three good ones out of two bad ones.
7) Automatic console metal groove. Good condition.
Eight) Brake for automatic. Really this is the best part of the lot, great metal and paint. Almost new condition, I rarely wear my brake pedals, I drive on weekends and use the car in front to stop.
9) E24 comfort seat belt receptacles. Both sides plus bolts. Bolts are nice and stronger than Usain Bolt.
10) E36 plastic steering wheel, the top part has the usual squeegee feel of the plastic rotating a bit when you squeeze. Great therapy when in traffic, you squeeze the steering wheel while mumbling "gus fraba" and the desire to shoot other drivers just wanes. Air bag not included. Can include a garbage bag if you insist. Empty of course.
