Hi all,

My car is 2285442 which is a 01/1973 UK RHD 3.0 CSL with Fuel injection.

I find that the VIN is not recognized under the "historic" section on RealOEM.

When I select the 3.0CSL model manually and enter the production month and date, the diagrams which come up are for a twin carburetor car. Not for fuel injection which my car is.

Should I go into the diagrams of a 01/1973 CSI to find part numbers for the fuel injection parts ??

I'm looking to buy a new fuel tank and I need the correct part number.

I'm not sure which of the different tanks is correct for my car.

My original tank has the fuel gauge sender unit and the large fuel pickup and return unit fitted on top of the tank.

Your input is much appreciated.

i just click on classic, then select 2.5cs - 3.0csl, then you would click 3.0csil ... that will give you EU. the downside is that won't give you RHD necessarily

I have tried both suggestions but still its not very specific to my car.

If I chose... CLASSIC >> 2.5CS-3.0CSL >> 3.0CSL >> 01/1973 >> RHD ... it shows me twin carburetor car diagrams

If I chose... CLASSIC >> 2.5CS-3.0CSL >> 3.0CSiL >> .... Then my manufacture month and year is not shown. The earliest shown is 01/1974 when my car is 01/1973

The etk is notoriously wrong on info for the csl dates.

Have you checked the number stamped on the engine to see if it matches your vin? Look where the starter bolts into the block where the timing window is located. The VIN is stamped on a flat spot.

Production date doesn't really matter with RealOEM, just select CSi.

Oh yes. The car is numbers matching
