I missed both Amelia and Moda due to a family wedding in Chicago. My friends say Amelia was well-attended. And spirits were high, despite the weather. And the auctions went well. How was Moda? @Dirk

I'm sure @Dirk, @DWMBMW & @Drew Gregg will post photos soon.

All the BMW E30 M3s did quite well At Gooding the Grey 1957 503 Series 1 Coupe was no sale at $180K & Broad Arrow the White 507 was a no sale at $2 Million. The RM Sotheby's Baikal/Black CS sold for $84K.

Thank you @DWMBMW!

Think that Colorado License Plate Polaris CSL was the one at the Ultimate Driving Museum for the History of M Exhibit.
@Dirk's 1937 328 is in good company with the Bentley Vanden Plas Speed Six.
The 1933 Cadillac with the one-off French Delahaye inspired coachwork, saw it at Pebble Beach in 2017.
The Ferrari Dinos have come a long way, I remember when they were considered cheap "entry level" cars.
The Black Delage with the fender Tool Box & Dual Rear Spares keep the body lines clean & uncluttered.
Maserati Mistrals & Boras have been getting fairly popular.
The White Delage Convertible Coupe with the concave German Silver trim, as I recall it was specially built as Delage's 1932 Paris Auto Salon Show Car.
Dirk & Alexandra with the 1937 328
1959-1960 Ferrari 250 GT California Long Wheelbase Spyder. "If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."
Duesenberg Mormon Meteor, In late 1935 Ab Jenkins set the 24-Hour World Speed Record unbroken for 26 years until 1961.
1934 Mercedes-Benz Supecharged 540K Roadster. Likely "The Butcher's Mercedes" thought lost for decades & rediscovered behind a butcher shop in 1985ish
Mercedes 300SL "Gullwing" the are requisite concours cars. Our old friends the Shusters drove theirs on several Tours we hosted in Connecticut.
Duesenberg SJ Supercharged Speedster, known as "The Fire Marshalls Car" has a Siren & Red Light on the front, once part of Bill Harrah's Collection.
1935 Silver Talbot Closed Coupe with the fitted luggage.
The Dark Blue Teardrop Coupe has the styling cues of a later 1930s Bugatti Atlanté.
1973 Ferrari 275GTB "Daytona" Coupe.
The well known Bucciali TAV12 Convertible Coupe. Very low production French cars built between 1925-1930.
Very Detamaso Pantera like.
Spyker looking based on the interior.
Everyone knows the Ferrari 250 GTO, all remaining originally built 250 GTOs were featured at Pebble Beach several years ago, think there were 25 lined up.

Superbirds are pretty neat @BMW Pete has an Orange one his daughter is allowed to choose which car she’s driven in for the first day of school, it’s usually the Superbird.

The Blue Black Duesenberg Speedster Won Best of Show at Pebble Beach last year.

Few ever drive Ferrari F40s, nice to see one that isn’t red.

EDIT: @craterface Identified this as a Lamborghini Islero.
Raymond Lowey designed Avanti is still very cool. Unfortunately it didn’t save the save the day for Studebaker/Packard. Both companies struggled after WWII. Widely regarded as one of the worst mergers in automotive history as 2 weak mismanaged companies who both padded their accounting, lying to each other & shareholders don’t make a strong one. In 1963 the last of the 1964 of both Packards & Studebakers rolled off the line at East Grand Avenue, which is now a ruin.

Always liked the early Lamborghini GT Coupes. Modern ones are, in my mind, caricatures of themselves.

My father in law’s best friend had an Islero back when you couldn’t give them away. He never drove it despite my encouragement (i loved it-and my first imprinting of Weber DCOE’s) and it sat in his garage until he died.

I would love one and convert it to EV. The rear is beautiful.
