Modern type battery moved under rear seat?

It is centered on the frame rail in the floor pan just in front of the vertical seat support wall. It is one of those "rectangular" holes with the rounded ends.
 
Is it the grey color Track and Field shaped one between the hanging emergency flasher switch and the opened floor pan?

That one looks much bigger than the one coming up in the engine bay. So no need to enlarge this one.

No. It is the same shape/size as the one you describe but at the base of the seat. You can't see it in this photo.

In this pic you see a new but exact copied right front floor.

There are actually 2 openings, one rectangular close to the seat base, and one oval shaped towards the firewall. Both are plugged with a plastic cap.
The metal bar passing in front is there to exactly relocate the seat base once the floor is done.

Second pic shows the location of the square hole, here still covered with the original black plastic cap.

3rd pic shows the left front floor. (in my 73 CS Euro model, Swiss delivered). On this side there is no square hole, but an oval one.

Those are great pics. The second pic is the one I would use. If you are just outside the passenger door on the floor looking in front of the seat, that is exactly what the opening looks like.

I have two Odyssey PC680's in parallel under the right rear seat. Built a metal tray and welded it to the floor. A strap holds the batteries in place (not shown in pics). I had to cut one small corner(±8 mm) of the floor at rear right corner to fit the tray so that the rear seat cleared the top of the batteries without modifying the fiberglass seat base. Also, for some reason, the shape of the floor is not the same on the left and right. There is more clearance on the right side.

Hello, you have a experience on installing battery under seat will you please help me with that I am changing my E9 engine with M3 engine and I have to take a battery on back under seat is very good idea there is a new battery with 7" length and 3.4" width 4.9" height is this size will go under the seat and the p[over of battery is 12V cold crank 150A HCA 280A 13AH is this power is good for
