we had a Moke in the South of France for a couple of years . It was our grocery getter when the sailboat was there.
Sold it when boat returned. Kids loved it :D

I had a few 4 seat Gems and every time I sold it, I find myself looking for another immediately. Guess that goes with any classic car as well.
I am eyeing an electric one for a grocery getter. I

I've always liked Moke's, maybe it's the little kid in me. Seems like you can't really go wrong, not much to go wrong or to fix up if not already in great shape. I couldn't drive one on the streets in CA (I don't think due to crash safety reasons) so never looked into getting one, but here in ID they would be good to go. I drive my side by side around all the time here now. It looks like a Monster Truck compared to those. You may want to look into whether you can drive one on the streets in Long Beach. I could be wrong because I do remember seeing modified golf carts with plates running around, the Moke looks sturdier than those. I like the ones with the thatched roofs and Hawaiian themed/print interiors.

They’re right at home in Long Beach and they are street legal where posted 35 or less.

Love the pink and white. I was thinking of painting my 69 auto 2002 in this color scheme for one of my girls, but she wasn’t showing much interest.
I went with Colorado. Well, at least nosy panels are :) I haven’t seen it complete yet.

not every classic car needs to be silver. Color makes people happy :)

This guy needs the pink and white moke up front. If you study the pictures, you see the kid in him as well (slide)

Ahh “God’s country” as the locals like to say :)
It really is.....it checks all the boxes except the ocean of course but I stopped surfing a few years back. I miss the ocean fishing for Yellowfin, Bluefin, Yellowtail, etc. but the fly fishing makes up for it, plus there is salmon fishing here in the lakes. They are land locked, Kokanee and Chinook Salmon spawn up the Coeur d'Alene river, the South Fork and St. Joe. They are fairly plentiful here, especially the Kokanee. I don't mind the seasons, actually look forward to them. Please let me know if you are ever in the area, Spokane is close by as well. Even Missoula, MT is not far and a great drive. Keep us posted on the Moke. I'm going to look for one here but probably hard to find out here. It would be fun to turn one into a 4WD. LOL. Mini-monster truck.
