BarryG -- nice chatting with you too. Here is my best 17 mile drive picture:

One of the highlights of the trip for me was Mike's shop. Wander three blocks from the Little Car Show, bump into Macha who had just arrived, then Gary drops in, Fred pulls up, and Paul shows up with his new e9 bargain:

and jumping in to help with Macha's clutch master:

Andrew and Peter stopped by the pits on Saturday. What a treat to meet them face to face! Thanks guys.

Luigi had a good weekend. I held off Tom P. in the BMW NA M1 in the morning race, but then we blew up the diff on Saturday morning COMING BACK THRU THE PADDOCK after the race if you can believe it. Terry and Jim swapped it out for our long-course diff which was in the truck so I was able to make the feature on Saturday afternoon. Managed a 14th place finish out of 50 cars despite not having the correct ratio in the car for this track, so I'm pleased. Those P guys don't like it much when an E9 passes them.

Always a pleasure to see you and your cars in person. Glad you had some time to chat with Peter and me between race sessions.

This is Mike's shop when Paul Cain arrived with his new to him CS a half hour after taking delivery. It was a happy coincidence we were all there at the same time. From left Fred Larimer, Paul Cain, Mike Burger, Chris Macha & Gary Collins. Not pictured, Wayne Killen, Peter Coomaraswamy, Chris Ohmes, Lisa the Otwoprincess & me.

The ex-Robert T. DeForest 1932 Packard Twin Six Dietrich Convertible Victoria won Best Open Packard Sunday at Pebble Beach. It was a victory for my grandfather's memory and a win for my brother and me. Learned through very reliable sources it was in the running for Best of Show.

Was great to see Andrew and the Packard at PBC. It won best open Packard. It is now owned by Chip Conor, who also owns a 250GTO.

Great talking to Arde at the Concorso.

BMWPete was there not with a BMW but an Isotta Franchini. Those cars have presence by the ton!

CCR2002, sorry to miss you at the Quail. Neat seeing the race e9 placed near the Ford Capri RS2600 race car.

And I sold my Alfa to a guy who has the time and money to actually race it.

My son and I had another great time in Monterey. Again, everyone treated us incredibly well. Having been in other car groups, we feel this one is very special and supportive.
Thanks to all for another great event. Tim and Graeme.
